High spreading widths are achieved by means of the 2-disc wide-angle spreading unit. The aggressive spreading tines crush the spreading material and feed it to the discs. Due to adjustable throwshovels, spreading widths of up to 21 m are reached.
The BE spreaders are equipped with a standard robust 2-beater spreading unit. The aggressive beaters crush the spreading material and distribute it homogeneously. Due to the screwed, rotatable and replaceable spreading tines, a longer service life and optimum work result are achieved. The spreading unit clearance is 1.25 m.
All BE spreader models can be equipped with an optional 4-beater spreading unit. Due to the fan-shaped spreading tines, spreading widths of 6 - 8 m are achieved, depending on the spreading material.
The BE 1201 and 1401 spreader models are equipped with four standard 13 mm strong transport floor chains. Due to the chains resting on the floor, even crumbly and grainy materials such as lime can be conveyed to the spreading unit well dosed.
Weather and shock resistant plastic boards are used for the floor, which offer excellent gliding properties, thus enabling effective conveying of any kinds of spreading material.
The advantages of the vehicles being equipped with a tandem axle are also obvious. The most decisive one is the reduction of the ground contact pressure in combination with a large tyre size. On the other hand, the vehicle height can be considerably reduced when choosing smaller tyres. The robust 4-spring chassis of the BE spreaders convinces by good driving characteristics on the field and on the road.
The unsprung single axle of the BE spreaders offers an optimum price-performance ratio and an easy-towing vehicle which provides the great advantage of a higher tongue load. Large tyre sizes are the reason for the particularly easy towing. As the single axle prevents the tyres from being excessively worn during cornering, tyre wear is extremely low and e. g. the sward is protected in the best possible way.
On all standard spreader models of the BE series, all functions are switched via the tractor control valve. The oil flow controller for the infinitely variable adjustment of the transport floor is easily accessible from the tractor. The position can be adapted to different tractor models by means of a telescopic holder arm, in order to prevent damage.
The optional electro-hydraulic easy-to-use control, available from the BE 75 model, consists of a clearly arranged control set where the hydraulic functions are actuated by means of toggle switches. Among others, control lamps for some of these functions as well as the infinitely variable speed adjustment for the transport floor are integrated in this terminal. This control system makes the use of the machine very simple and safe.
