The ISOBUS control offers the drivers easy operation without a long familiarisation period. Furthermore, this type of control already integrates some monitoring options via the sensor system. Of course, the ISO suitability also creates the option of operation via existing terminals on the premises or on the tractor. Thus, interesting advantages of the valuable control terminals can be transferred to the machine use.

For travelling over silos, all models are equipped with a hydraulic folding drawbar with two double-acting cylinders. A hydraulic drawbar suspension ensures an even smoother ride during road travel.

In the electronic-hydraulic "Strautmann Electronic Steering" (SES) forced steering axle system, the steering input is not, unlike in conventional forced steering axle systems, hydraulically detected and transmitted via master cylinders, but electronically via an angle of rotation sensor. This sensor converts the steering angle into an electrical signal which is transmitted to the steering computer that takes over the steering of the steering cylinders at the steered axle. The SES system offers high driving stability as the steering angle is adjusted to the speed.
The body has been designed for maximum interior width for a high transport capacity. The continuous side panels with the reinforced side posts give the vehicle a high stability. A high access door with a folding ladder always ensures a firm foothold and thus a safe entry into the vehicle.
