In today's all-too-fleeting period of time, which leads mainly big enterprises to think only from one quarter to the next, family-owned companies such as Strautmann are excelling by solidly based business relationships with long-term orientation.
Thus, Strautmann was able to use this year's visit of the Hopkins family as an opportunity to celebrate the 25th anniversary of cooperation together with the export department staff. During the first years, machine sales in New Zealand were limited to forage trailers for green fodder feeding and grass silage collection. Meanwhile, the complete Strautmann programme of forage trailers, universal spreaders and fodder mixing trailers is sold with great success.
Machinery with high technology equipment are sold in New Zealand to an increasing extent. The breakthrough with the universal spreaders was definitely made by Strautmann Hopkins by means of the VS Spreader series with weighing device, spreading quantity control and GPS documentation. The machines developed in Europe for inter-farm use by large-sized enterprises and agricultural contractors meet any of the KIWIs' requirements.
Over the years, several hundreds of forage trailers and in the last years even more and more fodder mixing trailers and spreaders were exported. The growing success shows once more Strautmann's competence in developing innovative and reliable solutions for dairy farms as their partner. Offering a reliable service for the sold machines on site together with the partner is deemed to be a particular challenge.
