RECO takes over Strautmann's Sales for Great Britain

With retrospective effect from 1 January 2010 Ruston's Engineering Co. Ltd (RECO) will take over the sales of Strautmann products in Great Britain.RECO is a family-owned and operated company which was formed in the mid-1950s and whose roots go back to the agricultural engineering manufacturing company F.T. Ruston & Sons. Today the company is under the management of the fourth generation. RECO is also the owner of the biggest British manufacturer of special-purpose tyres. RECO itself imports the Fella, Sulky, and Kioti brands and has a tightly-meshed sales network in Great Britain. Both companies expect to stabilise their respective positions in the market as a result of their cooperation. Strautmann looks forward to entering this extended sales network and RECO hopes to bolster its own market position, particularly in the cattle farming product group.
